Contact support

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how paid WordMate.ai subscriptions renew, how you can cancel them, and when refunds may be considered.

It applies to subscriptions purchased through Stripe unless a different offer or local law requires otherwise.

1. Billing and Renewals

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically on the billing cadence shown at checkout unless canceled before renewal.
  • Pricing, taxes, trial details, and billing cadence are shown before payment is completed in Stripe.

2. How to Cancel

  • You can cancel your subscription from the Stripe Customer Portal linked from WordMate settings.
  • If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid billing period unless local law requires otherwise.
  • Canceling stops future renewals but does not retroactively void an already processed billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
  • We may review refund requests for duplicate charges, technical billing errors, or exceptional cases at our discretion.
  • Nothing in this policy limits refund rights that apply under consumer law in your jurisdiction.

4. Trials

  • If a free trial is offered, cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
  • Once the trial converts into a paid subscription, the standard refund rules in this policy apply.

5. Billing Problems and Disputes

  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact support promptly with your account email and billing details.
  • If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we may suspend access while the dispute is investigated.
